Tom was like many others, going to a regular gym and hitting the same workout routine day after day. One day he showed up to the gym and it had been shut down. The silver lining, it pointed Tom to Crossfit in 2012. He was hooked after his first workout. He chugged the kool-aid!
It was always important to Tom that he stay active. From the age of 6 he played soccer (still does!). In high school, he was a three sport varsity athlete; soccer, winter track, spring track. After college, it became more difficult to find enjoyable ways to stay active. Crossfit has fulfilled that. The workouts are great and push you to your limits, but it is the community that keeps him coming back.
Tom has always enjoyed coaching. As a high schooler, he volunteered as a soccer coach for the town’s youth program. Currently, he is a soccer coach for Waltham Youth Soccer. It was only a matter of time before he obtained his CF-L1 and began coaching Crossfit.
