What is ONE Nation Yoga?

This all levels Vinyasa Yoga class helps to link breathe to movement as you flow through a variety of asanas or poses.  Vinyasa classes cultivate flexibility, strength, endurance, and balance.

This class is very similar to an upbeat, fast-paced power yoga class only with more emphasis on core exercises. You’ll still get that strengthening and stretching balance, but with a stronger core! Class is 60 minutes. This is also a great compliment to cross training.

All fitness levels welcome!

About the Instructors

Katie found yoga in 2004 after years of running without stretching and spending hours at the gym.  At first yoga was just a new way to workout and a great sweat, but it quickly turned into a daily practice that was much more.  She realized that her practice was not only a new type of fitness she enjoyed, but was also helping her feel more comfortable in her body, helping her clear her mind, and making her less injury prone.  Katie became a 200 hour certified power yoga teacher in 2008, and has been teaching a variety of classes since then.  Watching her students grow in their health and fitness is the reason Katie’s passion for teaching evolved from teaching just yoga to other fitness classes as well.

Katie also stays active with running Harvard Stadium, playing in a women’s outdoor Soccer league, Skiing, and taking CrossFit classes!  In the past few years she has been certified in Group Fitness through AAFA, Ballet Barre through SCW, and CrossFit Level 1 with CrossFit One Nation.

Ashley’s love for yoga began in 2015 after she needed silence and relaxation after working in an elementary school all day.  That quickly turned into a daily practice!  Over the next two years she pushed herself to find passion in her practice.  Finding breath and meditation along with strength within practice. In 2017 Ashley decided to share her love of yoga with others and became a 200 hour certified yoga instructor. From there she has been teaching in her elementary school, in corporate settings, and at various studios around Boston. She finds excitement and joy in sharing her passion with others by teaching students of all ages and levels. She loves helping people understand what yoga means to them!

Along with taking yoga Ashley enjoys running when the weather is nice and finding new exercise classes to try!

When and Where are Classes Offered?

Classes are Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm
