What is ONE Nation Longevity?

ONE Nation Longevity is a fitness class designed to meet the needs of older athletes, age 50+. ONE Nation Longevity is a strength and conditioning model of constantly varied, functional movements, executed at high intensity. Aging athletes’ goals and intensity often differ from those of younger athletes, so it makes sense that their training needs may vary somewhat as well. Not necessarily by kind, but at least by degree. This is what we refer to as scaling. Scaling tailors a workout to be appropriate for your ability.

Stepping into a gym for the first time (or for the first time in 20 years), should not be an intimidating experience. ONE Nation Longevity class is a small group of your peers. It is a supportive and encouraging environment that reduces anxiety and makes every workout fun.

While younger athletes may desire strength and agility for competitive performance, older athletes know strength and agility are essential elements of everyday life. Our goal at ONE Nation Fitness is to train older athletes to retain or regain the ability to perform tasks that we once took for granted. We’re training for Longevity.

Before coaching, Chuck lived a sedentary, stressful lifestyle as an IT Director. After realizing the toll it was taking on his body, Chuck began to turn his nutrition and fitness around in 2012.

Over the last 5 years, Chuck has tailored his life around health, nutrition, and fitness. During that period, he has gone from not being able to do a single push-up, sit-up, or squat into learning to love the gym.

Now that Chuck is retired, he has made it his goal to encourage older people to shatter stereotypes of aging and to be strong and active.
